Job Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to improve website visibility, organic traffic, and search engine rankings.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis.
- Collaborate with content teams to create and optimize SEO-friendly content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and social media.
- Manage on-page SEO activities, including metadata optimization, internal linking, schema markup, and content optimization.
- Execute off-page SEO initiatives such as backlink acquisition, outreach campaigns, directory submissions, and brand mentions.
- Perform technical SEO audits and work closely with developers to resolve website issues.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools.
- Track keyword rankings, traffic trends, crawl errors, and indexing issues.
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm updates and emerging SEO trends.
- Prepare and present regular SEO performance reports and recommendations to management.
AI Visibility & GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
- Develop and implement AI Visibility and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to improve brand presence across AI-powered search platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and other AI assistants.
- Monitor and optimize brand mentions, citations, and content discoverability within AI-generated responses.
- Create and optimize content structures that improve visibility in AI search results and large language model (LLM) outputs.
- Identify opportunities to increase authority through digital PR, entity optimization, structured data, and knowledge graph signals.
- Track AI search performance, brand visibility, and emerging trends in AI-driven search and answer engines.
- Collaborate with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure websites and content assets follow GEO and AI search best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on SEO experience with a proven track record of improving organic traffic and keyword rankings.
- Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Experience with keyword research, backlink building, content optimization, and SEO audits.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar tools.
- Understanding of AI Search, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
- Knowledge of schema markup, entity SEO, semantic search, and content structuring for AI discoverability.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structures.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
