Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pre-Primary Head cum Coordinator to lead our early years program. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of CBSE pre-primary curriculum, and a child-centered approach to education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the pre-primary teaching team (Pre-Nursery to KG).
- Design and implement a CBSE-aligned, play-based yearly curriculum with monthly, weekly, and daily lesson plans.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE, NCERT, and NEP 2020 early childhood guidelines.
- Conduct regular teacher training, classroom observations, and performance reviews.
- Oversee child assessment through portfolios, anecdotal records, and developmental checklists (no formal exams).
- Plan and coordinate events: orientation, parent workshops, annual day, exhibitions.
- Maintain strong home-school communication through meetings, newsletters, and digital updates.
- Manage classroom resources, learning kits, safety protocols, and infrastructure.
- Ensure inclusive practices for children with diverse learning needs.
Requirements:
- Education:
- M.Ed / B.Ed with Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) specialization
- Montessori/Playway certification preferred
- Experience:
- Minimum 5–7 years in pre-primary teaching
- At least 2 years in a leadership/coordinator role in a CBSE school
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of CBSE pre-primary framework & NEP 2020
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in digital tools (Google Workspace, school ERP, online portfolios)
- Passionate about child-centered, activity-based learning
