About the Role
We are looking for an experienced ERP Functional Consultant with 4+ years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting ERP solutions such as Zoho, Odoo, or other enterprise ERP platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into effective ERP solutions. The candidate will work closely with clients, business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders throughout the implementation and support lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze business requirements across areas such as CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Finance, Accounting, HR, Projects, and Operations.
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, and process-mapping exercises with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and ERP solutions.
- Configure and customize ERP modules based on business requirements.
- Work on Zoho, Odoo, or other ERP platforms and understand their functional capabilities.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), process flows, and user stories.
- Coordinate with technical/development teams for customizations, integrations, workflows, reports, and automation.
- Perform functional testing, system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Prepare test cases, test scenarios, user manuals, and training materials.
- Conduct product demonstrations and user training sessions.
- Support data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Identify process gaps and recommend ERP-based solutions and best practices.
- Manage implementation activities from requirement gathering through Go-Live and post-Go-Live support.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
- Work with clients to improve existing ERP processes and maximize system adoption.
- Monitor project timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
- Provide ongoing functional support and enhancements for implemented ERP solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience as an ERP Functional Consultant, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Zoho, Odoo, or other ERP platforms.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes.
- Experience in at least 2–3 functional areas such as:

- Service Management
- Experience in ERP implementation, configuration, customization, and support.
- Strong requirement-gathering and business process analysis skills.
- Experience preparing functional documentation, process flows, and test cases.
- Good understanding of workflows, approvals, automation, reports, dashboards, and integrations.
- Experience working with developers/technical teams to deliver ERP customizations.
- Good understanding of APIs and third-party integrations is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Zoho or Odoo certifications will be an advantage.
- Previous experience working in an ERP implementation/consulting company is preferred.
- Experience handling client-facing implementation projects is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of SQL, APIs, JSON, or basic technical concepts will be an added advantage.
