We are seeking a disciplined, detail-oriented, and proactive ex-serviceman to oversee the day-to-day operational health of our group of 3 schools. The role is responsible for identifying, documenting, monitoring, and helping resolve all administrative and infrastructure-related issues across the campus.
The officer will serve as the school's operational eyes and ears, ensuring that facilities, equipment, vendors, and support services function efficiently and that issues are systematically tracked through closure.
Key Responsibilities
1. School Operations Monitoring & Audits
- Conduct regular inspections of the entire school campus.
- Identify and document issues related to:
- Classrooms
- Laboratories
- IT equipment and computers
- Electrical systems and lighting
- Furniture and fixtures
- Plumbing and sanitation
- Security systems
- Sports facilities
- Transportation areas
- General infrastructure
- Maintain structured checklists and inspection reports.
- Ensure all observations are accurately recorded and communicated.
2. Issue Tracking & Resolution Coordination
- Maintain a centralized issue log and tracking system.
- Follow up with internal teams and vendors until issues are resolved.
- Verify quality of completed work before closure.
- Escalate critical issues to management when required.
- Monitor turnaround times and service standards.
3. Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in school operations and administrative workflows.
- Recommend practical improvements to increase efficiency, accountability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support digitization and automation initiatives wherever feasible.
4. Vendor Management
- Coordinate with maintenance contractors, service providers, and external vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance and adherence to timelines.
- Assist in obtaining quotations and comparing vendor proposals.
- Ensure vendors comply with school standards and requirements.
- Support contract execution and service delivery monitoring.
5. Event Operations Support
- Assist in planning and operational execution of school events.
- Coordinate logistics, infrastructure, seating, equipment, and vendor requirements.
- Ensure smooth execution of annual functions, sports events, parent interactions, and special programs.
- Conduct post-event reviews and improvement planning.
6. Compliance & Safety Oversight
- Monitor campus safety standards.
- Report potential hazards and risks.
- Support emergency preparedness and safety drills.
- Ensure basic operational compliance standards are maintained.
