We are looking for a highly motivated Academic Sales Executive who can guide students, manage admissions, and contribute to the growth of the academy.
Job Summary
The Academic Sales Executive will be responsible for handling student inquiries, counseling prospective students, promoting academy programs, converting leads into admissions, and maintaining long-term student relationships. The role requires excellent communication skills, sales ability, and a passion for helping students build successful careers.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counseling & Admissions
- Handle inbound and outbound student inquiries professionally
- Guide students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, fees, and training structure
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs
- Conduct one-to-one counseling sessions through calls, meetings, and online platforms
- Convert inquiries into successful admissions through continuous follow-up
Lead Management
- Manage leads generated from social media, campaigns, website inquiries, and walk-ins
- Maintain accurate lead records and student databases
- Track daily follow-ups and admission status updates
- Ensure timely response to all inquiries through calls, WhatsApp, and email
Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets
- Develop strategies to improve lead conversion rates
- Build trust and maintain strong communication with prospects
- Coordinate with the marketing team for campaign support and promotions
Relationship Management
- Build positive relationships with students and parents
- Maintain professionalism throughout the admission process
- Address student concerns and coordinate with the support team when required
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for newly admitted students
Reporting & Coordination
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Coordinate with academic and management teams regarding admissions and schedules
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting systems
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and promotional activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent convincing and negotiation abilities
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Google Sheets, CRM tools)
- Ability to work under targets and deadlines
- Positive attitude and professional behavior
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in academic counseling, sales, telecalling, or business development
- Knowledge of digital marketing or creative industry courses is an added advantage
- Experience in handling student admissions preferred
