Systems Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
Lead EcoDesign integration into product development and product lifecycle activities.
Perform product-level sustainability and environmental compliance assessments for materials, components, packaging, and finished products.
Collect, review, and validate supplier declarations, full material disclosures, certificates of compliance, laboratory test reports, and packaging compliance evidence.
Support compliance evaluations for RoHS, REACH, SCIP, PFAS, TSCA, Prop 65, PPWR, WEEE, EPR, Battery requirements, and other applicable regulations.
Support SAP document approval by preparing, reviewing, and maintaining sustainability evidence, technical documentation, and compliance summaries.
Manage sustainability tools and workflows, including Windchill, SAP, BOMcheck, PLM/ERP systems, and reporting trackers.
Analyze bills of materials, packaging specifications, and material data to identify compliance gaps, data quality issues, and risk areas.
Handle tender request inputs related to substance compliance, product environmental information, packaging, recyclability, and sustainability reporting.
Support design-for-sustainability, material substitution, recyclability, circularity, and packaging optimization initiatives.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering , Environmental Science, Materials Science, Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Sustainability Science, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum Experience:
Typically requires 4–8 years of experience in sustainability engineering, product compliance, material compliance, packaging compliance, lifecycle assessment, product stewardship, or regulated product documentation.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
