Network Engineer
Experience – 3+ yrs. of Network Support Exp , BE/ BTech/ MCA with CCNA Certification.
CTC – Rs 35,000 / General Shifts
Location: Noida Sec 24.
Candidates Preference for Noida or per near Noida Location
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, and IP addressing.
- Understanding of the OSI Model and network protocols.
- Experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN technologies.
- Configuration and troubleshooting of:
o Routers
o Switches
o Wireless Access Points
o Firewalls (basic to intermediate) ---optional
- Knowledge of routing protocols:
o Static Routing
o RIP
o OSPF
o EIGRP
o BGP (preferred)
- VLAN configuration and troubleshooting.
- Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
- DHCP, DNS, NAT, and NTP.
- Basic knowledge of network security concepts such as ACLs and firewall rules.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as:
o SolarWinds
o PRTG
o Nagios
o Zabbix
- Packet analysis using Wireshark.
- Basic understanding of cloud networking (Azure/AWS) is an added advantage.
Vendor Knowledge
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
Operating Systems
- Windows Server (basic administration)
- Linux (basic networking commands)
- Familiarity with Active Directory is beneficial.
Troubleshooting Skills
An L2 engineer should be able to:
- Diagnose network connectivity issues.
- Resolve VLAN and routing problems.
- Troubleshoot VPN connectivity.
- Analyze interface errors and bandwidth issues.
- Handle switch and router hardware faults.
- Perform configuration backups and restorations.
- Escalate complex issues to the L3 team with proper documentation.
ITSM & Process Knowledge
- Incident Management
- Change Management
- Problem Management
- SLA adherence
- Experience with ITSM tools such as:
o ServiceNow
o BMC Remedy
o Jira
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Customer handling and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work in 24×7 shift environments.
- Documentation and reporting skills.
- Team collaboration.
Certifications (Preferred)
- CCNA (Highly Recommended)
- CCNP Enterprise (Preferred for experienced L2 engineers)
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
