- Collect, test and analyze samples to check for contaminants, potency, and other requirements
- Use laboratory equipment, such as microscopes and automated cell counters, to perform experiments and investigations
- Record data from tests and enter results into patient records
- Discuss results with Doctors and communicate scientific information to others
- Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and workspaces
- Follow safety rules and ensure compliance with all state regulations
- Ensure that supplies are accessible by restocking and ordering supplies
- Maintain daily logs and equipment record books
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems by examining data and selecting corrective steps
