Purchase Executive – Diagnostic Industry | Job Description
Position: Purchase Executive
Experience: 3+ Years
Industry: Diagnostic / Pathology / Healthcare
Location: Gurgaon
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement of diagnostic lab consumables, reagents, kits, medical supplies, and equipment.
- Identify and evaluate reliable vendors and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Raise and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain vendor database, purchase records, quotations, and documentation.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/lab teams to avoid stock-outs.
- Compare quotations and conduct cost analysis to achieve cost-effective procurement.
- Coordinate with vendors for quality issues, replacements, returns, and delayed deliveries.
- Ensure procurement is aligned with company policies and compliance requirements.
- Prepare regular purchase MIS, vendor performance reports, and cost-saving reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline; Supply Chain/Purchase qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant Purchase/Procurement experience in the Diagnostic/Pathology/Laboratory industry is mandatory.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of diagnostic consumables, reagents, lab equipment and medical supplies.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Purchase Management systems.
- Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
Preferred Candidate: Immediate joiners / candidates with strong diagnostic procurement experience.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
