Solar Van Driver – Job Description
Position: Solar Van Driver
Location: Chennai / Salem / Vellore / Hosur
Job Responsibilities
Drive company van safely for solar installation and service activities.
Transport solar panels, tools, and materials to project sites.
Support the technical team during loading and unloading.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance checks.
Follow route schedules and ensure timely site visits.
Coordinate with office staff and installation team.
Maintain trip records, fuel bills, and delivery documents.
Requirements
Valid driving badge license.
Minimum 1–2 years driving experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of local routes and highways.
Responsible, punctual, and team-oriented.
Willingness to travel for installation works.
Basic Tamil reading and communication skills required.
Working Details
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Weekly Holidays: 2 Days Off per week
Salary: Based on experience
Additional Benefits: Food allowance / Travel allowance (if applicable)
Preferred Candidate
Experience in solar, electrical, or field service companies is an added advantage.
