Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and nurturing Pre-Primary Main Teacher for Junior KG. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of early childhood education and child development. The teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Develop children's foundational skills in language, literacy, numeracy, creativity, and social interaction.
- Conduct circle time, storytelling, rhymes, phonics, art and craft, and hands-on learning activities.
- Monitor and assess students' progress and maintain records of their development.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, learning materials, and classroom displays.
- Ensure the safety, well-being, and discipline of students at all times.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress and development.
- Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, assemblies, field trips, and parent meetings.
- Collaborate with coordinators and fellow teachers to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, learning resources, and educational materials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Diploma/Certification in Early Childhood Education (ECCEd), Nursery Teacher Training (NTT), Montessori Training, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of child psychology and early childhood development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English language communication.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 1–5 years of experience as a Pre-Primary/Kindergarten Teacher.
- Experience teaching Junior KG or Nursery students preferred.
- Creative, patient, energetic, and passionate about working with young children.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to create engaging and activity-based learning experiences.
- Good parent-handling and relationship management skills.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
