Job Title: Ward Nurse

Job Summary
A Ward Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients admitted to the hospital ward. The role involves assessing patients, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting physicians, maintaining patient records, and educating patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' physical and emotional health and develop nursing care plans.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs and clinical condition.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during examinations and medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid or life support when required.
- Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the ward and medical equipment.
- Supervise nursing assistants and support staff when assigned.
- Participate in shift handovers and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Qualifications
- Diploma, GNM, or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration/licensure with the relevant nursing council.
- BLS/ACLS certification (preferred).
- 1–3 years of ward nursing experience.
Skills Required

- Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

Working Conditions
- Hospital inpatient wards.
- Rotational shifts (day, evening, night).
- May involve standing for long periods and handling emergency situations.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
