Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and energetic Business Development Trainee to support student admissions, lead generation, and business growth activities. The candidate will interact with students, explain course details, follow up on inquiries, and help drive enrollments.
This role is ideal for freshers who are passionate about communication, sales, and career counseling.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle student inquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, and social media
- Explain course details, career opportunities, and training benefits to prospective students
- Follow up with leads and convert inquiries into admissions
- Maintain and update student databases and CRM records
- Support digital marketing and promotional activities
- Coordinate webinars, seminars, and student engagement events
- Build relationships with colleges and educational partners
- Achieve monthly admission and lead conversion targets
- Assist the business development team in day-to-day operations
Requirements
- Any Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong interest in sales, counseling, and business development
- Basic computer and MS Office knowledge
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a target-oriented environment
Preferred Skills
- Telecalling or counseling experience is an added advantage
- Knowledge of software/IT courses is a plus
- Familiarity with social media platforms and lead handling
Experience
- Freshers are welcome
- 0–1 year experience in sales, telecalling, counseling, or business development preferred
