Job Title: Technical Engineer – CCTV & Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)
Job Summary
We are looking for a Technical Engineer with experience in installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of CCTV Surveillance Systems and Fire Alarm Systems (FAS). The candidate will be responsible for project execution, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and customer support at client locations.
Key ResponsibilitiesCCTV Systems
- Install, configure, and commission CCTV systems including IP and Analog cameras.
- Configure NVRs, DVRs, VMS software, and remote monitoring solutions.
- Perform camera positioning, focusing, and network integration.
- Troubleshoot camera, recording, storage, and connectivity issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and health checks of surveillance systems.
- Prepare site survey reports and technical documentation.
Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)
- Install, test, and commission conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
- Configure fire alarm control panels, detectors, MCPs, hooters, and modules.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot faults in fire alarm systems and rectify issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety standards and client requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for technical support when required.
General Responsibilities
- Attend customer complaints and service calls within defined SLAs.
- Maintain service reports, installation reports, and asset records.
- Coordinate with project managers, customers, and vendors.
- Provide user training and technical support to customers.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures during installation and maintenance activities.
- Support project execution and handover activities.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of CCTV brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus, Honeywell, Bosch, etc.
- Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems such as Honeywell, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens, Bosch, Agni, Ravel, etc.
- Understanding of networking concepts, IP addressing, switches, and cabling.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Qualification
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, E&C, IT, or related field.
- Certification in CCTV, Networking, or Fire Alarm Systems is preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in CCTV and Fire Alarm System installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in commercial buildings, data centers, factories, hospitals, or corporate offices.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Valid two-wheeler driving license preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
