Job Description: Senior Test Lead Position
Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Test Lead to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading all testing activities for our pharmaceutical manufacturing systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance. This role involves developing comprehensive test strategies, managing the testing lifecycle, and coordinating with a team of testers, developers, and business stakeholders. The Test Lead will leverage their expertise in both manual and automated testing to drive efficiency and excellence in our software development lifecycle (SDLC). Key Responsibilities: Test Planning & Strategy: Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test plans, strategies, and schedules for various projects. Define the scope of testing, including manual, automated, integration, regression, and performance testing. Establish clear entry and exit criteria for each testing phase. Identify and procure necessary tools, environments, and data required for testing. Test Execution & Management: Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress. Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring adherence to established plans and procedures. Triage, track, and manage defects using Jira, and facilitate defect review meetings with project teams. Generate and present detailed test summary reports, metrics, and dashboards to communicate testing status and quality insights to stakeholders. Technical Leadership & Automation: Champion the use of test automation, with a focus on tools like Tricentis Tosca, to increase test coverage and efficiency. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for critical system functionalities. Integrate testing activities into our CI/CD pipeline using DevOps tools. Manage test case documentation and execution tracking within electronic tools, specifically leveraging the Jira-Xray integration. Collaboration & Compliance: · Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure testability. · Ensure all testing activities and documentation comply with SDLC standards and regulatory requirements relevant to the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11). · Provide subject matter expertise on tes

1. Create And Review Test Cases Based On Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specifications, Ensuring Comprehensive Coverage Of Requirements.
2. Execute Functional Testing As Per The Established Test Plans And Respective Test Cases, Identifying Any Discrepancies And Ensuring Adherence To Quality Standards.
3. Contribute To The Development Of Test Plans By Providing Insights Based On Assigned Work And Previous Testing Experiences, Ensuring Alignment With Project Objectives.
4. Track Test Coverage, Defect Density, And Other Relevant Quality Metrics, And Publish Detailed Progress Reports To Communicate Findings And Status Updates.
5. Coordinate With Team Members For Discussions On Testing Strategies And Interact With Clients To Provide Updates And Gather Feedback On Testing Outcomes.
