Job Title: Domain Trainer – Electric Vehicle Product DesignPrimary Purpose
To deliver high-quality vocational training in Electric Vehicle (EV) Product Design, support students' academic and practical skill development, and ensure effective learning outcomes as part of the Skill Development Centre project across assigned centres. The role involves preparing and conducting training sessions, assessing student performance, maintaining training records, and facilitating industry-relevant learning experiences.
Key Accountabilities / Activities Primary Responsibilities Execute Classes
- Deliver structured theory and practical sessions in Electric Vehicle Product Design as per the approved curriculum.
- Facilitate hands-on learning activities, workshops, and project-based assignments.
Prepare for Classes
- Develop lesson plans, presentations, training materials, and practical exercises.
- Prepare demonstrations and case studies related to EV design and development.
- Summarize key learnings and assign practice work or projects.
Conduct Practical Training
- Train students in EV fundamentals, vehicle architecture, battery systems, CAD-based product design, prototyping concepts, and testing methodologies.
- Guide students in practical exercises and industry-oriented projects.
Attendance Management
- Maintain accurate attendance records for students and ensure regular participation.
Assignments & Assessments
- Prepare assignments, quizzes, practical evaluations, and projects.
- Conduct formative and summative assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
Learning Resource Distribution
- Issue textbooks, training manuals, uniforms, and learning materials as required.
Guest Lectures & Industry Visits
- Coordinate and conduct guest lectures, webinars, and industrial visits to EV manufacturing units, design centres, and automotive facilities.
Secondary ResponsibilitiesBatch Management
- Create and manage training batches.
- Monitor student progress using batch performance dashboards.
Student Performance Tracking
- Maintain scorecards and competency records for each student.
- Identify learning gaps and provide additional support where required.
Administrative Activities
- Raise requisitions for training consumables, laboratory materials, and teaching aids.
- Complete attendance, leave, and other HR-related requirements.
Academic Planning
- Review batch calendars and plan training activities accordingly.
- Participate in faculty meetings, reviews, and training programs.
Industry Updates
- Stay updated on emerging EV technologies, design trends, automotive standards, and industry requirements.
- Incorporate relevant industry practices into training delivery.

Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design, or related disciplines.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Electric Vehicle, Automotive Design, Product Design, or related sectors.
- Prior teaching, training, or skill development experience preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Local candidates preferred.
- Marathi proficiency is mandatory.
- Familiarity with skill development programs and outcome-based training is desirable.
