Purpose of the Role:
1. Support the team in executing the manufacturing functions of SPS process including Paint shop to produce and supply components of superior quality and quantity at minimum cost and in committed time schedule to meet the manufacturing function objectives
2. Ensure elimination of waiting time, on time Job Card Update, On time Move Transaction in ERP, First pass Yield of Production out put of quality, and awareness on International Paint Specifications
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Continuously improve processes in section to reduce cost of production and imbibe the culture of cost consciousness
- Facilitate internal customer satisfaction by working towards improving efficiency and productivity in operations
- Work on timely completion of customer complaint analysis and closure the same with error proof
- Ensure Daily Check at Paint Booth area to adhere Daily maintenance Check list
- Ensure previous stages are closed in ERP / Router.
- Execute manual cleaning and Paint Preparation process carried out as per control plan.
- Ensure masking of the Parts (If Applicable)
- Painting the parts as per Control Plan
- Curing the Parts at Oven as per Control Plan
- Execute Self Inspection to Ensure the Process Control Quality requirements.
- Touch-up the parts at the at the racking area
- Update movement status in ERP to next operation
- Offer the Parts to Inspection .
- Ensure Work centre Cleanliness
- Imbibe and Implement the TQM culture among the entire team
- Implement the requirements of Change management projects among entire Painting function
- Ensure adherence to Business Excellence processes in all activities related to the section
- Identify potential areas of process improvements and implement it in co-ordination with team
- Work with automation team for SMART factory implementation through transformation & INDUSTRY 4.0 techniques
- Work with strict adherence to set processes and encourage low cost automation techniques
- Suggest and use of the latest technologies and tools for all activities within section department
- Train apprentice trainees on section process to ensure defect free products
