Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Sales & Business Development:
Identify and develop new business opportunities for mechanical products such as machinery, components, tools, or industrial equipment.
- Customer Interaction & Support:
Communicate with clients (OEMs, vendors, industrial customers) to understand their technical requirements and provide suitable product solutions.
- Product Presentation & Demonstration:
Explain product specifications, features, and technical benefits to customers. Conduct product demos when required.
- Quotation & Order Management:
Prepare techno-commercial quotations, negotiate pricing, and process customer orders efficiently.
Address customer complaints related to product performance, delivery, or service in coordination with internal teams.
- Site Visits & Client Meetings:
Visit customer locations, factories, or project sites to understand requirements and maintain strong relationships.
- Sales Target Achievement:
Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
- Coordination with Internal Teams:
Work closely with production, design, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Upselling & Cross-Selling:
Identify opportunities to promote additional products or upgraded solutions.
- Market Feedback & Reporting:
Provide insights on customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
- 2–4 years of experience in industrial or technical sales
- Strong understanding of mechanical products, drawings, and specifications
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand customer technical requirements and convert them into sales
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office / ERP / CRM systems
- Willingness to travel for client visits
