Key responsibilities
- Make outbound and handle inbound calls from a contact list
- Pitch products or services and explain offers clearly
- Generate, qualify and follow up on leads
- Answer customer queries and resolve simple issues
- Schedule appointments, demos or callbacks
- Update call outcomes and customer details in the CRM
- Meet daily call, lead and conversion targets
- Maintain a polite, professional tone on every call
Requirements & qualifications
To succeed as a telecaller, candidates usually need:
- Clear verbal communication and a confident phone manner
- Good listening, persuasion and patience
- Basic computer and CRM/data-entry skills
- Target-orientation and resilience to rejection
- Fluency in the required languages (e.g. Hindi/English/regional)
