12–20+ years in RF & Microwave Systems, Electronic Warfare (EW), Counter-UAS (C-UAS), Radar, SDR, and Defence Electronics.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced RF Domain Expert with deep technical expertise in Anti-Drone (Counter-UAS) Systems. The candidate will act as the company's technical authority responsible for diagnosing complex RF system issues, identifying root causes of failures, optimizing system performance, validating designs, and providing technical leadership throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead root cause analysis for RF, EW, and Counter-UAS products.
· Troubleshoot receiver sensitivity, transmitter power, detection range, false alarms, EMI/EMC, RF leakage, antenna mismatch, and frequency hopping issues.
· Review and validate RF front-end architecture, LNAs, PAs, filters, synthesizers, SDRs, IF chains, shielding, and thermal management.
· Optimize receiver sensitivity, dynamic range, jamming effectiveness, phase noise, blocking performance, and link budget.
· Mentor RF engineers, conduct design reviews, and support customer technical discussions.
· Lead RF characterization, calibration, environmental testing, EMC testing, and field trials.
Required Technical Skills
· RF Receiver & Transmitter Design

· Software Defined Radio (GNU Radio, USRP, DSP)
· Counter-UAS, Electronic Warfare, SIGINT/COMINT
· Spectrum Analyzer, VNA, Signal Generator, Oscilloscope
· Keysight ADS, AWR, CST, HFSS, MATLAB/Simulink
Preferred Industry Background
Experience in defence, aerospace, electronic warfare, radar, or Counter-UAS organizations such as DRDO laboratories, ISRO, BEL, HAL, BDL, defence PSUs, or leading RF product development companies.
Education
B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication or RF Engineering. M.Tech. in RF/Microwave Engineering preferred.

· Resolve complex RF and Anti-Drone system issues through structured engineering analysis.
· Improve product performance and reliability.
· Establish robust RF troubleshooting methodologies.
· Mentor engineering teams and support customer acceptance trials.
