About
Agnikul Cosmos is a company incubated at IIT Madras and we build rockets that can take satellites up to 500 kg to Lower Earth Orbit (LEO). In May 2024, we successfully completed our maiden launch from our own launchpad (India's first private launchpad). The launch has proven all the new technologies developed by Agnikul and also earned recognition from Honourable Prime Minister of India.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at site
- Ensure work execution aligns with approved drawings and plans
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams
- Monitor material usage and ensure timely availability
- Maintain site records, reports, and progress updates
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations
- Conduct site inspections and resolve execution issues
- Liaise with the design team for clarifications and modifications
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Strong understanding of construction methods and site practices
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Hands-on experience in site supervision and execution
- Good leadership and team coordination skills
- Willingness to work near Kelambakkam, Chennai
Preferred:
- Basic knowledge of quantity estimation and billing
- Familiarity with quality control procedures
- Strong problem-solving ability on-site
