English Teacher Job Description
An English Teacher is responsible for teaching English language and literature, developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lesson Planning & Delivery: Prepare structured, engaging lessons on grammar, literature, writing, and reading, tailored to diverse learning needs interviewguy.
- Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and practical exercises; provide constructive feedback to guide improvement.
- Skill Development: Enhance listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills via individual and group sessions.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, productive, and inclusive environment; encourage active participation and positive behaviour.
- Collaboration: Work with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders to support student learning; participate in departmental meetings and school events
- Professional Growth: Stay updated on teaching methodologies, trends, and resources; attend workshops and INSET activities interviewguy.
- Resource Management: Organize teaching materials, supplies, and technology integration to enhance learning.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field; teaching certification.
- Experience: Proven teaching experience in English language and literature.
- Skills: Strong command of English grammar and vocabulary; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; adaptability; creativity in lesson design; technology proficiency.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
