Role Overview
We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented fresher to join our catalogue team as a Product Data Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, verifying, and managing product listings on the Qwikxy platform — ensuring every product is accurately represented, correctly categorised, and error-free before going live.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and upload detailed product listings on the Qwikxy platform, ensuring all attributes (title, description, category, price, images, SKU, specifications) are accurately captured.
- Maintain and update Excel-based product master sheets, using advanced features such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data validation to track and manage catalogue data.
- Analyse end-to-end product data flow — from source input to live display on the website — and identify where data might break, get mis formatted, or fail to reflect correctly on the frontend.
- Coordinate with the backend/tech team to understand how product data is processed through the system (APIs, database fields, mapping logic) and flag inconsistencies or data mismatches proactively.
- Perform thorough QA checks on uploaded products to ensure zero display errors, broken attributes, or missing fields on the live platform.
- Build and maintain structured reports and dashboards in Excel to track upload progress, error rates, and catalogue health metrics.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for product creation workflows to ensure consistency across the team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the tech, design, and business teams to resolve data issues quickly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (BCA, B.Tech, or any equivalent qualification preferred).
- Proficiency in: Advanced Microsoft Excel:
◦ Formulas: VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IFERROR, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS
◦ Pivot Tables & Charts for data summarisation and reporting
◦ Data Validation, Conditional Formatting, and Drop-down Lists
◦ Power Query or basic Macros (good to have)
- Foundational understanding of: Web & Backend Basics:
◦ How websites and web applications work (frontend vs backend)
◦ What APIs are and how data flows between systems
◦ Basic familiarity with JSON/XML data structures (ability to read, not necessarily code)
◦ Understanding of database concepts like fields, records, and data types
- Ability to spot discrepancies in large datasets and product information. Attention to Detail

- Exposure to e-commerce platforms (Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Shopify, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of HTML or how product attributes render on a web page
- Familiarity with Google Sheets and collaboration tools like Notion or Confluence
- Experience with any PIM (Product Information Management) tool
