Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Music Teacher with a background in CBSE-affiliated schools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging music education, conducting practical instrument training, and nurturing students' musical talent through both classical and contemporary instruments.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Academic & Teaching Responsibilities:
- Teach music theory and practical skills aligned with the school curriculum
- Conduct instrument-specific training sessions for individual and group students
- Prepare lesson plans, practice schedules, and performance assessments
- Organize and direct school choirs, bands, and musical ensembles
- Monitor, record, and evaluate student progress systematically
- Maintain classroom/rehearsal discipline and encourage active participation
- Plan and conduct musical performances for school events, annual functions, and competitions
- Assist in organizing co-curricular activities, workshops, and cultural events
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Music, or a related discipline (formal training/certification in relevant instruments preferred)
- Experience: 3 to 4 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school environment
- Instrument Proficiency (any 3–5):
- Harmonium
- Guitar
- Keyboard
- Ukelele
- Synthesizer
- Tabla
- Drums
- Strong understanding of both Indian classical and Western music fundamentals
- Ability to train students across different age groups and skill levels
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
