Job Summary
Responsible for assisting in food preparation and cooking activities while ensuring quality, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained in the assigned kitchen section.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and mise-en-place as per kitchen requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items.
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained.
- Follow recipes and instructions provided by senior chefs.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area and equipment.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages.
- Minimize food wastage and support cost-control measures.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.
- Good knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
