Job Summary
We are looking for a smart, active, and responsible Purchase Executive who can handle vendor coordination, quotation management, order processing, follow-ups, and material procurement activities efficiently. The candidate should have strong negotiation skills, market understanding, and the ability to work under pressure to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective purchasing.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase & Procurement
Handle day-to-day purchase activities.
Float inquiries to vendors and collect quotations.
Compare quotations and prepare comparative statements.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Generate Purchase Orders (POs).
Coordinate with vendors for timely dispatch and delivery.
Vendor Management
Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
Identify new suppliers for better pricing and quality.
Maintain vendor database and records.
Track vendor performance and delivery timelines.
Coordination
Coordinate with sales team regarding urgent requirements.
Follow up with transporters and vendors.
Coordinate with accounts department for payment-related matters.
Communicate with warehouse/store team regarding material receipt.
Documentation & MIS
Maintain purchase records in CRM / Zoho / Excel.
Update daily purchase status reports.
Maintain pending PO and delivery tracking sheets.
Handle documentation like quotations, invoices, challans, e-way bills, etc.
Cost Control
Work on achieving best margins through negotiation.
Monitor market pricing trends.
Avoid delays and excess inventory.
Required Skills
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and Zoho Crm /Zoho.
Vendor handling and follow-up capability.
Basic understanding of industrial products/materials.
Ability to work in fast-paced B2B environment.
Time management and multitasking ability.
Qualification
Graduate in Commerce / Business / Engineering preferred.
Additional procurement or supply-chain knowledge is an advantage.
Experience
1 to 4 years in Purchase / Procurement / Supply Chain.
Experience in industrial or B2B trading industry preferred.
Salary
Based on experience and performance.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
