Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative, energetic, and caring LKG/UKG Teacher to nurture young learners in their foundational years. The role involves delivering a play-based and structured curriculum that supports holistic development—academic, emotional, social, and physical—aligned with CBSE early childhood guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Management
- Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Manage classroom routines effectively
- Ensure discipline through gentle and child-friendly approaches
2. Teaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver structured lesson plans based on early years curriculum
- Introduce basic literacy (phonics, reading readiness) and numeracy skills
- Use interactive teaching methods: storytelling, rhymes, activities, games
- Prepare children for smooth transition to primary grades
3. Child Development
- Monitor and support individual learning needs
- Foster communication, motor skills, creativity, and social behavior
- Encourage confidence, independence, and participation
4. Assessment & Documentation
- Conduct regular assessments and maintain records
- Prepare report cards and student portfolios
- Track progress as per CBSE/school guidelines
5. Parent Engagement
- Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs)
- Provide regular feedback on child’s progress
- Guide parents on learning practices at home
6. Co-curricular & Events
- Organize and participate in school activities, celebrations, and events
- Support annual day, sports day, and classroom presentations
7. Compliance & Safety
- Follow school policies, CBSE norms, and child safety guidelines
- Ensure adherence to POCSO and student protection policies
Qualifications & Requirements:
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate with NTT / D.El.Ed / ECCE (mandatory)
- Montessori training preferred
Experience:
- 1–4 years of experience in LKG/UKG or pre-primary teaching
Skills Required:
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Patience, empathy, and passion for working with children
- Creativity in lesson planning and activity-based teaching
- Ability to handle young learners with care and responsibility
- Basic computer knowledge
