About the Role
Stori Design is looking for a skilled *Draftsman* to prepare accurate technical and production drawings for bespoke luxury furniture and interior products. The role involves translating design concepts into detailed drawings for manufacturing and execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed *2D production/shop drawings* for furniture and interior products as per approved designs.
* Develop drawings with accurate *dimensions, tolerances, materials, sections, details, and specifications*.
* Convert design concepts and 3D models into practical manufacturing drawings.
* Coordinate with *Design, Production, QC, and Project teams* to ensure drawings are production-ready.
* Review drawings for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with design specifications.
* Incorporate revisions and maintain updated drawing records.
* Prepare *cutting details, assembly details, hardware details, and material specifications* where required.
* Support the production team with technical clarification during manufacturing.
Requirements
* Diploma/Degree in *Mechanical, Interior Design, Architecture, Furniture Design*, or a related field.
* 2–5 years of experience in drafting, preferably in *furniture, interiors, woodworking, or manufacturing*.
* Proficiency in *AutoCAD; knowledge of **SolidWorks, SketchUp, or other 3D software* is an advantage.
* Strong understanding of dimensions, materials, joinery, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good coordination and communication skills.
*Ideal Candidate:* A detail-oriented draftsman who can convert creative designs into *accurate, practical, and production-ready drawings* for premium bespoke furniture.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
