We're building our marketing function from scratch, in-house, for the first time — no more outsourcing, no more chasing a vendor for results. You'll own the strategy, run a small team (an SEO executive and a designer), and be the person the firm actually trusts to make marketing work. If you've been executing someone else's marketing plan and are ready to build your own, this is that role.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Set and own the marketing strategy and calendar across social media, SEO, and content
- Manage and guide the SEO Executive and the Designer — assign priorities, review output, keep both accountable to real numbers
- Write or directly guide content — posts, website copy, and anything client-facing — ensuring it's sharp and on-brand
- Track and report actual outcomes monthly: enquiries generated, traffic growth, engagement — not just activity
- Coordinate with firm leadership on positioning, messaging, and what the firm should be known for
- Manage any external tools, budgets, or vendors the department needs going forward
Who We're Actually Looking For
- 2-4 years in a marketing role, ideally with some experience managing others or running projects independently, not just executing tasks
- Genuine, demonstrable experience across SEO and social media — you don't need to be hands-on expert-level in both, but you need to know enough to manage people who are
- Strong writing ability — you'll be reviewing, editing, and sometimes drafting content yourself
- Comfortable working in a professional services environment; can operate within compliance/brand constraints without losing creativity
