Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Solution Implementation Manager (SIM) to lead the onboarding, delivery, and implementation of Managed Security Services (MSS) for enterprise customers. This role combines technical project delivery, customer engagement, and security solution enablement, ensuring successful deployment of complex network and security services. The SIM acts as the primary point of coordination across customers, engineering teams, and vendors, with a strong focus on on-time delivery, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementation and onboarding of MSS solutions across customer environments
- Gather, analyze, and validate customer technical and business requirements
- Translate requirements into solution designs and implementation plans in collaboration with engineering teams
- Coordinate and manage deployment activities including ordering, provisioning, configuration, and testing
- Act as the primary customer-facing interface during implementation lifecycle
- Ensure successful integration of firewall, SASE, and SD-WAN solutions into customer environments
- Track and manage project milestones, risks, and dependencies to ensure timely delivery
- Drive issue resolution and escalation management across internal teams and vendors
- Maintain clear documentation, reporting, and status communication with stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes and automation
Core Technical Expertise:
Network & Security Fundamentals
Strong understanding of:
- TCP/IP, ports, and protocols
- Routing (BGP, OSPF) and WAN technologies
- LAN/WAN architectures and network design fundamentals
Security & Network Technologies
Experience with enterprise security solutions:
- Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point)
- VPN technologies (IPsec / SSL VPN)
- NAT, segmentation, and policy-based security Secure Access & Cloud-Delivered Security
Delivery & Project Management Skills:
- Strong experience in technical project delivery / service implementation
- Ability to manage multiple parallel customer deployments
- Solid understanding of:
- Project lifecycle management
- Risk and dependency management
- Vendor and stakeholder coordination
Professional Skills:
- Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into customer-friendly language
- High attention to detail with strong ownership and accountability mindset
- Self-driven and proactive with the ability to work in a global environment
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of experience in:
- Network/security implementation, service delivery, or project management roles
- Experience delivering firewalls or managed security services is highly preferred
Certifications (Preferred):
- Cisco (CCNA / CCNP)
- ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management certification
- Project Management certifications (PMP, Prince2) – advantage
- Vendor certifications (Palo Alto, Fortinet) – advantage
Education:
- BCA / B.Tech graduates or candidates with relevant qualifications in cybersecurity, information technology or related fields.
