Responsibilities:
Design & Conceptualization
- Understand the client vision, cultural traditions, theme preferences, and overall budget.
- Create detailed mood boards, color palettes, and visual presentations to pitch design concepts to clients.
- Develop accurate 2D/3D renderings, floor plans, and elevation drawings for the stage and venue layout.
Sourcing & Procurement
- Collaborate with vendors, carpenters, florists, and fabricators to source the best materials for stage decor, props, lighting, and floral arrangements.
- Maintain an updated inventory of stage assets, fabrics, and decor elements.
- Ensure all procured items meet aesthetic standards and quality requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven track record of 3+ years in wedding decor design, event styling, or architectural/theatrical set design.
- Design Software: Proficiency in design and spatial software such as SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator), or 3D Max.
- Aesthetics: A strong eye for detail, color harmony, and spatial planning.
- Cultural Knowledge: Deep understanding of traditional and contemporary Indian wedding customs, mandap designs, and reception aesthetics.
- Soft Skills: Excellent client communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work long hours, irregular shifts, and on-site during wedding days.
