Space Stasis is a design-driven architecture studio exploring the intersection of spatial clarity, material experimentation, and future-forward thinking. Our work spans conceptual research, built projects, and speculative design, with a strong emphasis on process, storytelling, and precision.
We are seeking a motivated Architecture Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative studio environment and contribute meaningfully to ongoing projects from concept to documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in design development across multiple project phases
- Produce drawings, diagrams, and 3D models for internal reviews and presentations
- Support research, precedent studies, and concept development
- Help prepare presentation materials, layouts, and visualizations
- Collaborate with architects and designers in studio critiques and meetings
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an architecture program
- Strong design sensibility and interest in contemporary architecture
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g. AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite; Grasshopper a plus)
- Basic understanding of architectural drawings and workflows
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
