About the Role:
We are looking for a Junior Architect with strong AutoCAD skills to join our home automation design team. You will be responsible for reading architectural and electrical layouts, creating detailed automation drawings (single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, device placement plans), preparing accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) with quantities and pricing, and generating client quotations for luxury residential and commercial projects. You will coordinate with clients, architects, and electrical contractors to ensure seamless integration of smart home systems. Prior knowledge of home automation (KNX, Zigbee, Lutron, Control4) is a bonus but not mandatory – training will be provided.We are looking for a Junior Architect with strong AutoCAD skills to join our home automation design team.
You will be responsible for reading architectural layouts, preparing electrical and automation drawings,creating Bills of Materials (BOM), and generating quotations for luxury residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Study architectural/electrical layouts and create detailed automation drawings (SLD, wiring schematics,device placement plans)
2. Prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) with quantities, part numbers, and vendor pricing
3. Generate professional quotations for clients
4. Conduct site surveys and client meetings
5. Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and electrical contractors
Skills Required:
- Proficient in AutoCAD (must show portfolio)
- Ability to read architectural & electrical layouts
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Basic knowledge of Excel for BOM/estimation
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of home automation (KNX, Zigbee, Lutron, Control4, etc.)
- Experience in ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm)
- Revit / SketchUp knowledge
- Interior design background
Education:
B.Arch / Diploma in Architecture / Interior Design / Civil Engineering
