Job Description –Accountant (Store)
Job Purpose
To maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock movements, reconcile physical and system inventory, and support cost control through proper documentation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions.
- Verify and record Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Issue Notes (MIN), and stock transfers.
- Reconcile physical stock with ERP/store records and investigate variances.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Production, and Accounts departments for stock verification and documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess stock, or slow-moving items.
- Assist in inventory valuation and cost analysis.
- Support internal and external inventory audits.
- Maintain proper filing of store documents and inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Com or equivalent qualification.
- 1–5 years of experience in store accounting or inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Proficiency in ERP software, Tally, and Microsoft Excel.

Pay: ₹12,559.11 - ₹22,855.86 per month
