KJK Hospital is looking for a skilled and dedicated OT & Anaesthesia Technician to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will assist in operation theatre procedures, maintain OT equipment, and support anaesthesiologists in delivering safe and efficient patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain operation theatres before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Assist anaesthesiologists during administration and monitoring of anaesthesia.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of anaesthesia machines and OT equipment.
- Monitor and replenish surgical and anaesthesia supplies.
- Follow infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
- Assist surgeons, nursing staff, and anaesthesiologists as required during procedures.
- Maintain accurate records related to OT and anaesthesia equipment.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Operation Theatre Technology, Anaesthesia Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an OT Technician, Anaesthesia Technician, or similar role.
- Knowledge of OT procedures, sterile techniques, and anaesthesia equipment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and emergency situations.
