Position Overview
We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer with a strong aesthetic sensibility for luxury ethnic wear. The ideal candidate is passionate about couture, possesses an exceptional understanding of traditional Indian crafts, and has the ability to translate concepts into exclusive, intricately designed collections.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualise and design seasonal couture and luxury prêt collections in line with the brand's identity.
- Develop original design concepts, mood boards, color stories, fabric selections, embroidery layouts, and silhouettes.
- Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and specifications for production.
- Research global luxury fashion trends while incorporating Indian textiles, heritage crafts, and artisanal techniques.
- Collaborate closely with embroidery artisans, pattern masters, sampling teams, and production units to ensure flawless execution.
- Source premium fabrics, trims, embellishments, and accessories from trusted vendors.
- Supervise garment fittings and make necessary design refinements to achieve exceptional fit and finish.
- Ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship, construction, and quality across all collections.
- Work within collection timelines while maintaining exclusivity and innovation in design.
- Contribute creative ideas for bespoke bridal couture and custom client orders.
- Stay informed about emerging fashion, textile innovations, luxury consumer preferences, and market trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Fashion Design from a reputed institute.
- 3–8 years of experience in luxury ethnic wear, bridal couture, or premium fashion houses.
- Strong portfolio showcasing intricate ethnic garments, couture construction, and embroidery development.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or equivalent design software.
- Excellent knowledge of Indian textiles, surface ornamentation, hand embroidery techniques, draping, and garment construction.
- Strong understanding of fabric behavior, fit, finishing, and luxury craftsmanship.
Desired Skills
- Exceptional creativity with a refined luxury aesthetic.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to perfection.
- Excellent illustration and visualization skills.
- Knowledge of traditional embroidery techniques such as zardozi, aari, resham, dabka, mirror work, sequins, threadwork, and hand embellishments.

- Ability to manage multiple collections and deadlines effectively.
