We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Staff Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the comfort of their homes. The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a patient-centered approach while ensuring the highest standards of healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients at their residences.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and wound care as prescribed.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) when required.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication adherence, nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
- Monitor patient progress and promptly report any changes in condition to the supervising physician.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and nursing documentation.
- Ensure infection control protocols and patient safety standards are followed.
- Coordinate with doctors, physiotherapists, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond professionally to emergency situations and provide basic life support when necessary.
- Travel to assigned patient locations as per the daily schedule.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to organizational policies and nursing ethics.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Home Healthcare Coordinator or Management.
Qualifications
- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Nursing Council registration.
- Freshers or experienced candidates may apply (experience in home healthcare is preferred).
Requirements
- Willingness to travel to patient homes.
- Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license.
- Must own a two-wheeler for field visits.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic knowledge of electronic documentation and mobile applications is an added advantage.
