Location : Chennai
Mandate:
This role will serve as the primary architect of the organizations future Technology. The mandate is to bridge the gap between the deep-rooted physical presence and a world-class digital ecosystem. You will lead the transition from legacy systems to a high-velocity, API-first, and AI-driven platform that supports the organizational growth plan
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Transformation & Scale:
Oversee the migration to a fully Cloud-Native infrastructure to support rapid scaling of new business verticals
2. Phygital Ecosystem: Enhance the "Mobile-First" ecosystem for field agents and customers, ensuring seamless paperless documentation and real-time collection of data.
3. Product Innovation: Drive the technical roadmap for Embedded Finance and co-lending partnerships with Fintechs.
4. Governance & Security: Modernize the cybersecurity posture with Zero-Trust Architecture and ensure 100% compliance with evolving digital lending and data sovereignty guidelines.
5. Operational Excellence: Lead the integration of advanced treasury systems and RPA to automate back-office workflows, reducing manual intervention and operational risk.
Experience & Background:
1. Leadership Pedigree: 1825 years of experience in technology, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CTO, Deputy CTO, or Head of Digital) within a large-scale NBFC, Bank, or high-growth Fintech.
2. Proven Transformation: A track record of leading a successful large-scale digital migration or core-banking/lending system overhaul.
3. Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the Indian lending landscape, including Vehicle Finance, LAP, and MSME credit cycles.
4. Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science.
Skills & Attributes:
1. Tech Stack Mastery: Proficiency in Microservices architecture, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), AI/ML frameworks, and Blockchain for secure document verification.
2. Agile Mindset: A champion of DevOps and Agile methodologies to increase the velocity of product launches.
3. Stakeholder Influence: Capable of building and mentoring a high-performance in-house engineering team.
