Cuttack Agrivet Pvt. Ltd. (CAPL) is a rapidly growing grain-based ethanol manufacturing company committed to operational excellence, sustainability, and compliance. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Management professional to lead our procurement, stores, logistics, inventory, and vendor management functions.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the end-to-end Supply Chain Management function, including procurement, stores, logistics, inventory, and dispatch.
· Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials, chemicals, consumables, spares, and services.
· Establish strategic sourcing practices and negotiate commercial terms with vendors to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
· Manage vendor identification, evaluation, development, and performance monitoring.
· Ensure optimum inventory levels through effective planning and inventory control.
· Oversee warehouse and stores operations, ensuring proper material receipt, storage, issuance, and stock verification.
· Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Projects, Finance, QA/QC, and Plant Operations for material planning and execution.
· Monitor logistics operations, transportation, dispatch planning, and timely delivery of materials.
· Implement ERP-based SCM processes and ensure accurate MIS reporting.
· Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality and operational continuity.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards.
· Lead, mentor, and develop the SCM team while driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Commerce, or Supply Chain Management. MBA/Post Graduation in Materials Management or Supply Chain will be preferred.
· 15–20 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Stores, and Logistics, preferably in Ethanol, Distillery, Chemical, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Process Industries.
· Strong knowledge of procurement practices, inventory management, vendor development, contract management, and logistics.
· Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar).
· Excellent negotiation, analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and industry standards.
