Assistant teachers for Grades 1 and 2 bridge the gap between early childhood play and formal academics. Their duties are highly hands-on, focusing on classroom setup, small-group instruction, behavioral management, and student well-being.
Instructional Support: Reinforce lessons developed by the lead teacher by working with small groups or students who need extra help with reading, writing.
- Student Monitoring: Observe students' academic progress and emotional behavior, providing the lead teacher with regular feedback.
- Supervision & Safety: Supervise children outside of instructional time, such as during recess, lunch, or on field trips, to ensure their safety.
- Administrative Tasks: Take attendance, grade routine assignments or worksheets, and keep student records up to date
