Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes (turning centers) to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work orders to determine machining requirements
- Select, install, and align appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workholding devices
- Load and edit CNC programs (G-code/M-code); make minor offset adjustments as needed
- Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMM, etc.)
- Monitor machining operations to detect malfunctions, tool wear, or deviations from specifications, and make corrective adjustments
- Maintain accurate production records, inspection reports, and traceability documentation
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cycle time reduction, and scrap/waste reduction
- Collaborate with programmers, quality inspectors, and supervisors to resolve production issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S practices)
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
