Trueport Operator (DA & Port Costs Operator)
About the Role:
We are looking for a Trueport Operator (DA & Port Costs Operator) to join our team in Navi Mumbai. The role involves reviewing and validating Disbursement Accounts (DAs), managing port costs, coordinating with port agents and ship owners/managers, and ensuring accurate, transparent, and efficient port cost operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate PDAs/FDAs and Disbursement Accounts (DAs).
- Benchmark and optimize port costs across the agency network.
- Coordinate with port agents, ship owners, and managers for smooth operations.
- Review Charter Parties (CPs) to identify cost recovery opportunities.
- Monitor operational KPIs and prepare reports.
- Handle KYC, prefunding, and payment reconciliation.
- Investigate DA discrepancies and ensure cost accuracy.
- Support process improvements and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maritime operations, port agency, ship management, or DA processing.
- Experience in PDA/FDA preparation, DA validation, port cost analysis, or commercial shipping operations.
- Knowledge of port tariffs, Charter Parties (CPs), and vessel operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies or a related field is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with maritime platforms such as IMOS, Sedna, SharePoint, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of commercial shipping operations and performance reporting.
