About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Training & Placement Officer (TPO) to manage and strengthen the placement support function for our candidates. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with training institutes, educational organizations, placement agencies, or corporate recruitment teams and should have a proven track record of supporting candidates in securing job opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with IT companies and hiring organizations for placement opportunities.
- Identify relevant job openings based on candidate skills and training programs.
- Coordinate candidate profiles, interviews, job drives, and placement activities.
- Build and maintain a strong corporate hiring network.
- Understand technology-specific hiring requirements and match suitable candidates accordingly.
- Coordinate with internal trainers/counsellors to understand candidate skills and readiness.
- Organize placement drives, interview sessions, and career-related activities.
- Maintain placement records, interview status, and candidate joining details.
- Provide regular updates on placement activities and results.
- Work towards improving the overall placement ratio and candidate employability.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in Training & Placement, Campus Placement, Recruitment, or Placement Coordination.
- Proven experience in placing candidates, preferably from IT training institutes or similar organizations.
- Good understanding of IT recruitment and technology-based job requirements.
- Strong communication, networking, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to independently connect with companies and generate placement opportunities.
- Candidates with an existing corporate/HR hiring network will be preferred.
