Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of plant machinery by carrying out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. The candidate should have experience in manufacturing industries and be capable of handling both mechanical and electrical maintenance activities to maximize machine uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machines.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain motors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical panels, MCCs, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and control circuits.
- Perform daily machine inspections and ensure machine health.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, history cards, and daily reports.
- Coordinate with the production team for planned maintenance and emergency breakdowns.
- Monitor machine performance and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts and coordinate procurement requirements.
- Support installation, commissioning, and relocation of machinery.
- Follow TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and safety standards across the plant.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of PLC, VFD, HMI, sensors, and industrial control panels.
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with motors, bearings, couplings, belts, chains, and gearboxes.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance documentation.
- Basic knowledge of welding, fabrication, and machine alignment is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for maintenance reporting.

Candidate Profile

- Positive attitude, team player, and safety-conscious.
Salary
₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and technical expertise).
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
