About the Role
Damani Education Foundation is seeking a dedicated and organized Program Assistant to support the implementation and administration of its social development initiatives, including the Elderly Widows Empowerment Project. The role involves program coordination, documentation, stakeholder communication, data management, and administrative support to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain project records, beneficiary databases, and documentation.
- Conduct secondary research and compile relevant information for program development and reporting.
- Coordinate with beneficiaries, partner organizations, and other stakeholders through calls, emails, and follow-ups.
- Assist in preparing donor reports, meeting notes, and project updates.
- Support data collection, verification, and analysis as required.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, workshops, and events.
Eligibility & Skills Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Sociology, Humanities, Management, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Marathi will be an added advantage.
- Prior internship or work experience in the social sector will be preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
