Salary Range: Up to ₹35,000 per month
Travel Requirement: Frequent travel across Kolkata locations and Jharkhand stores as per business requirement.
Job Summary
BDS Group is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser who will be responsible for managing retail store inventory, stock movement, report management, and merchandise coordination across multiple store locations. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, inventory handling knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with store teams for smooth retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor store inventory across retail locations.
- Ensure proper stock availability and maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Handle stock transfers, stock audits, inward & outward stock movement.
- Coordinate with store teams regarding stock discrepancies and inventory planning.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory & sales reports.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movement and inventory data.
- Monitor slow-moving and fast-moving products.
- Support visual merchandising and product placement coordination when required.
- Conduct regular store visits for stock verification and operational support.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with retail inventory processes.
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams for smooth stock replenishment.
- Prepare MIS and inventory-related reports for management review.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Retail Merchandising, Inventory Management, or Store Operations.
- Good knowledge of stock handling and inventory management.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and report preparation.
- Ability to handle retail MIS and data analysis.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel across Kolkata and Jharkhand locations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in retail inventory .
- Knowledge of retail stock audit processes.
- Basic understanding of retail KPIs and store operations.
- Hands on Experience in Excel'
