JOB DESCRIPTION
About the Role
We are hiring a versatile teacher to handle *both Science and Social Science* for classes 6 to 9. The teacher should have strong conceptual clarity and the ability to make both subjects interesting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Science and Social Science for classes 6 to 9 as per ARK curriculum
2. Prepare lesson plans, notes, and worksheets for both subjects
3. Conduct regular tests and maintain detailed test reports and progress reports
4. Identify dull students and arrange special classes/remedial sessions to improve performance
5. Ensure minimum 70% of the class secures good marks in assessments
6. Use activities, maps, and experiments to simplify concepts
7. Maintain student discipline and academic records
Requirements
1. Strong teaching ability and subject knowledge in Science and Social Science
2. Degree in Science/Arts with (B.Ed) preferred
3. Experience teaching middle school students preferred
4. Ability to manage mixed-ability classrooms
5. Commitment to work with us for *minimum 1 year*
Work Timing
4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. Sunday Holiday.
Location: Alandur, Chennai
Pay: ₹10,225.01 - ₹12,000.00 per month
