Samrat Plywood Limited is a Chandigarh-based manufacturer and exporter with a strong presence in the plywood and HPL (High Pressure Laminate) industry. The company is focused on building its digital presence, improving internal systems and using technology to support sales, marketing and business operations.
We are looking for a Developer who can take ownership of website development, internal digital systems and technology-related requirements of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities1. Website Development & Maintenance
- Develop, maintain and improve company websites and web applications.
- Add new features, landing pages, forms and functionality as required.
- Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly and optimised for desktop and mobile.
- Fix bugs, technical issues and website errors.
- Improve website speed, performance, security and overall functionality.
- Coordinate with the marketing and content teams for website updates.
2. Web Applications & Internal Systems
- Develop simple internal tools and web-based applications to improve business processes.
- Assist in developing systems for lead management, customer management, sales tracking and reporting.
- Integrate forms, CRM systems, APIs and other third-party tools where required.
- Automate repetitive processes wherever possible.
3. Database & Backend Development
- Work with databases to store, retrieve and manage business information.
- Develop and maintain backend functionality and APIs.
- Ensure data is secure, structured and accessible.
- Troubleshoot database and backend-related issues.
4. Digital Marketing Support
- Work closely with the digital marketing team to implement technical SEO requirements.
- Create and optimise landing pages for lead-generation campaigns.
- Implement tracking codes, pixels, analytics and conversion tracking.
- Support integration of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and other marketing tools.
5. Technical Support
- Identify and resolve technical issues across websites and digital platforms.
- Maintain website backups and basic security measures.
- Monitor website uptime and performance.
- Coordinate with external technology vendors when required.
6. Development & Automation
- Identify opportunities where technology can reduce manual work.
- Build simple automation tools for internal teams.
- Help improve lead-management and reporting processes.
- Explore and implement relevant new technologies and AI-based tools where useful.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of PHP / Python / Node.js or another backend programming language.
- Understanding of databases such as MySQL / PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of WordPress and website CMS platforms is preferred.
- Understanding of APIs and third-party integrations.
- Basic understanding of SEO and website performance.
- Familiarity with Git/version control.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Salary
₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on skills, experience and technical capabilities.
