Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Senior Sales Engineer with strong experience in the Industrial Automation industry. The ideal candidate should combine technical expertise with proven sales capabilities to drive business growth, develop new customers, and deliver customized automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with OEMs, EPCs, System Integrators, and End-User customers.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
- Generate leads through networking, market research, industry events, and direct customer engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals.
- Understand customer technical and business requirements and recommend suitable automation solutions.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to develop customized proposals.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales opportunities.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and regularly follow up with customers.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory for customer meetings and business development.
Candidate Requirements :
- 5–8 years of experience in Technical Sales / Sales Engineering within the Industrial Automation industry.
- Strong exposure to automation products and solutions from brands such as Schneider Electric, Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Mitsubishi Electric, ABB, or similar.
- Strong customer network across OEMs, End Users (EU), System Integrators (SI), and EPC companies.
- Proven experience in lead generation, account development, technical solution selling, and closing sales.
- Previous experience in Technical Support or Field Service will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical solutions clearly to customers.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
