Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers, bank reconciliations, and trial balances.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and payment documentation.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Ensure timely filing of tax and statutory returns.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with Tally / Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
- Experience in preparing MIS reports.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Salary
